()Ms. Pfirrman is Of Counsel to the firm, specializing in civil, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, representing clients in federal, bankruptcy and state courts in California and Nevada. She has over thirty years' experience as an advisor and litigator, specializing in disputes involving financial fraud and forensic accounting issues.
At the beginning of her career, Ms. Pfirrman joined the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, serving in both the Office of the General Counsel in Washington, D.C. and the Division of Enforcement in Los Angeles, where she rose to be a member of the trial unit before leaving to enter private practice. In her enforcement role, Ms. Pfirrman conducted investigations and represented the Commission in various federal court cases and administrative proceedings involving securities violations, bankruptcy, receivership and SIPC liquidation matters. She entered private practice in 1985, working on a wide array of complex civil business and commercial disputes, as well as representation of claimants and respondents in securities arbitrations and defense of S.E.C. enforcement investigations. Since joining Drummond & Associates, Ms. Pfirrman's practice has focused on complex civil business litigation in federal district, bankruptcy and state courts, with a particular emphasis upon cases involving complex accounting issues. Ms. Pfirrman has substantial experience in the specialized arena of bankruptcy litigation.
Ms. Pfirrman received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1979. She earned a B.A. in Economics at California State University, Long Beach in 1975; where she was admitted to both The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Epsilon International Economics Honor Society. She is licensed to practice in both California and Nevada. She is admitted to practice before The United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Central Districts of California, the Districts of Nevada and Northern Illinois and the United States Courts of Appeal for the Ninth and Seventh Circuits.
